Probably **** up my Win 10 installation ?

    Hey guys,
I have a little problem, that I dont know how to fix. I tried to install Windows cleanly on my PC in March, but apparently i **** up my Partitions on my my C HDD and D SSD drives. While Windows is installed on C, D still has a complete version of Win aswell apparantly. All Windows files and directories are present there aswell. Even the same User directories are listed there. My disk management shows me that there are system partitions on my D. I dont know how togo on from here, I would like to install Win 10 cleanly again with my D being "normal", in the sense of a storage partition. As a sidenote: Starting my computer now needs a very long time aswell. The PC just goes blackscreeen for like 30 ? seconds after my Acer boot up logo and before the lock screen. I include a picture of my disk management. This is in german, but i hope the main points are still understandable. The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

    Stop Win 10 install

    Hi Bryon,

Thank you for using Windows 10.

    • Let us know are you referring to Update list when you say "Win 10 mailing list"?
Meanwhile, I suggest you to Run the Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) tool which fixes the Windows corruption error if there are any. Follow the steps:

    • Press Windows+X.

    • Click on Command Prompt (Admin).

    • Type the command DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
      and hit Enter.
Hope it helps. Let us know if you need further assistance and we'll be glad to assist you further.
