Windows 10: Problem activating Windows 10

Hi there! I am using a HP pavilion g6 laptop and having problems activating windows 10.

The laptop was originally having windows 8 and was upgraded to windows 10. Now I didn't upgrade it myself, instead went to the local computer store and asked them to upgrade it for meas I was having 0 knowledge about PCs back then. Now the laptop was working fine until 5-6 months and after that it asked me to activate the windows. I took no action and continued using it normally. So, windows was unactivated and customizing features were disabled I didn't bothered about it.

Now 2-3 days ago, I found a folder named Activation and under it there was a word document having a windows activation key with the store's name written in watermark.

I tried activating windows using the key & was shown the following message:

We can't activate windows on this device as we can't connect to your organization's activation server. Make sure you're connected to your organization's network and try again. If you continue having problems with activation, contact your organization's support person. Error code: 0xC004F074.

Then, I tried troubleshooting and got this message I have attached the screenshot.

Windows 10 Activation (Insider)

How long did you wait for activation?
When I re-installed with a fresh install... it took a few hours to sync and activate.
However, it did, finally, activate.

I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
