  1. Problem Making the Image of Windows 10 32 Bit

    I am trying to make an image of Windows 10 32 bit. After syspraping and using capture command to get the .Wim file, I apply the .wim file to a new hard drive on PC-1. If I attache the new HD with help of a USB port to PC-2, it will show what is inside the HD without any error message. I attach the new HD to the internal SATA cable of PC-1 and start the Operating system, and add anything like a picture or an application. If I shut down the PC and attach the new HD again via USB to another PC-2, an error message appears stating the Windows volume needs to be fixed. I have to add I did not have this problem for making the image of Windows 64 bit. Does this mean for making the 32 bit image I have to use a 32 bit machine?

    Best regards

    :)

  2. How do I install IE 32 bit and/or switch from 64 bit to 32 bit?

    Windows 10: Internet Explorer

    • You need to have Windows 10 64-bit(x64) to use this feature
    • To check:
      • Click on Windows Key
      • Click on Settings
      • Click on System
      • On left panel click on About
      • On right panel check system type:
        • System Type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
          • That means you have Windows 10 64-bit
        • System Type: 32-bit operating system, x86-based processor
          • That means you have Windows 10 32-bit
    • Internet Explorer
      • 32-bit(x86):
        • C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplorer.exe
      • 64-bit(x64):
        • C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplorer.exe
    Note:
    • You cannot switch between Windows 10 32-bit to 64-bit. you need to re-install Windows 10 64 bit.
    • To download Windows 10 64-bit:
      Microsoft - "Windows 10 - Download tool now"

    • Problem Making the Image of Windows 10 32 Bit 7b23dd14-23cd-4459-bfc9-5fe838d21118.png

    • If you have Windows 10 64-bit, you can run any application which supports 64-bit and as well as 32-bit

  3. How to install windows 10 32 bit on window 10 64 bit.

    First determine if there are 32 bit compatible drivers available for all your hardware. Also, if you have more than 4 GBs of RAM installed, it won't be recognized by 32 bit Windows 10.

    If you have all pre-requisites, then you can download the corresponding 32 bit edition then perform a custom install over your 64 bit install:

    Step 1:
    How to download official Windows 10 ISO files

    Step 2:
    How to: Perform a custom installation of Windows

    As a precaution, backup the 64 bit install in case something goes wrong:

    Personally, I would setup a virtual machine instead with a 32 bit copy of Windows and run the necessary apps there.

    Please note, you will need to enable 16 bit mode in Windows 10 32 bit in order to use those older 16 bit apps:
