    Problem reinstalling uwp apps


    Hello everyone, hope you can help me.

    I recently installed an SSD in my laptop. Before that, I had some Microsoft Store (non-default) apps installed in my HDD (on a secondary partition named DATA). After I cloned the OS from the HDD to the SSD and booted Windows from it I proceeded to wipe the HDD. When I opened the start menu I noticed that the apps that were installed on the HDD were still there, I tried to uninstall them but it wouldn´t let me (and gave me error code 0x80073d0d), nor repair them or reinstall them via Microsoft Store.

    I also erased every key from the registry and folders containing info of those apps and that did nothing. PowerShell command 'Remove-AppXPackage' also does nothing.

    Is there anyway I can remove all the trail left behind from those apps so I can reinstall them?

    Sticky Notes for Windows 10

    Sticky notes is shipped as a UWP app in newer versions of Windows 10 and it might have been corrupted. Try reinstalling all UWP apps to fix this:

    You can also open Store and search for it to see if there is an app available.

    How UWP app can be available for another user in Windows10 PC

    Hi,

    Is it possible to make UWP app available to use for another user without reinstalling the app. We are using
    Powershell to install (Sideloading) the app.

    Another user without admin permission needs to access the UWP app which is installed by admin user. How can we make it possible?

    Hi Vins22. Welcome to the TenForums @Vin22

    First I would the Windows Update reset and then try an Inplace repair / Upgrade

    Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade

    I also found this article. I have no experience with Geek Uninstaller. I've used CC Cleaner but I do not recommend you use it with your registry until you've read some internet opinions on registry cleaners and formed your own opinion. Myself I've stopped using the registry features.

    Instead of IObit Uninstaller I would use Revo Uninstaller.

    I would make a backup of my personal data before proceeding with any of the above solutions.

    Another excellent tool is Macrium Reflect for Imaging. If something goes horrible wrong you have a path back.
