    Problem saving pictures/snips. Windows 10

Previously, when I wanted to save a picture or snip I would click on it and save it, usually to One Drive > Pictures folder. It was a simple and quick thing to then find them to e.g. insert in a thread.

For several weeks now, that simple process hasn't worked and I've been unable to find the picture/snip later. By going to File Explorer > 'Search Quick Access' and then hovering over the picture when I've found it, it has shown me that the photo/snip has been saved in C: Users\my name\One Drive\Desktop.

If I've then tried to save it again, I've found it in C: Users\my name\This PC\Pictures.

What was a very simple and quick process is now complicated and time-consuming/time-wasting.

Has there been a change? If there has, when was it made/announced?

Is there any action that I can take e.g. by changing a Setting to go back to the previous simple/quick process?

    :)

  2. Windows 10 Snipping Tool on Windows 7

All it is is one extra step beyond what is native to windows 10. Yes, technically it would be easier to have the functionality of print built in to the Windows 7 version, but you just have to save it ,and right click on it ,and print.

As far as getting the windows 10 version into windows7. I know there was a way to get the old winpaint, so maybe there's a way to get the snipping tool into 10, I don't know.

im curious if i could compress, and upload the application to this post? 7zip doesnt seem to be allowed

problems saving a snip. Windows 10

I took a snip and went to save it in This PC > Pictures. But I couldn't - the title was highlighted in blue. The only way that I could save it was to save it in another place and so I saved it in This PC > Music (the folder).

This happened frequently in my other laptop but I didn't raise the problem here, thinking it was a problem with that laptop.

But I posting this with my new laptop. When I've submitted this I'll move the snip from Music to Pictures. There'll be no problem doing that but why it is happening? I'd appreciate your help please.
