Windows 10: Problem signing in to Cortana

I am not able to sign in to Cortana using my personal Microsoft account but when I sign in using my work account it works fine.



This is what it shows when I sign in using my personal account. And



This is it working perfectly with my work account.

How do I fix it??

We understand the concern as you are facing problem with Cortana on your PC.



In this scenario, we would suggest you to refer the steps as mentioned in this article:
Cortana's regions and languages



Also perform these steps and check:

1. Click on Cortana icon on the taskbar and sign in with your Microsoft Account
   
2. If you still receive the same message, go to Microsoft Store and search for Cortana.
   
3. Click on the Get button, and install the update from the Store
   
4. Launch Cortana, sign into it.
   
   
   

If the issue persists then reinstall/re-register Cortana.

1. Press Windows + X key and click Windows PowerShell (Admin)
2. Copy and paste the below command and press Enter key:

Get-AppXPackage -Name Microsoft.Windows.Cortana | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

3. Restart the PC and check.

Cortana sign in

  Is this when you try to sign in to Cortana for the first time and when you sign in with an MSA?

Cortana is the inbuilt app which comes in Windows 10 and Windows Phone. In order to use Cortana app, you need to sign in to Microsoft account so that we can use Cortana.
