Windows 10: Problem trying to install cfg file into Outlook 2016

Have followed HowTo-Outlook directions to show sender's email address in message view. (https://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/...deraddress.htm) Have downloaded and unzipped viewsendersaddress.zip into C > Program Files > Microsoft Office > Office16 > 1033 as viewsendersaddress.cfg (which also has two IPMS.ico files and a readme.txt file) but when in Form Manager dialog I press Install and click on the cfg file I get message "The form cannot be installed. The file cannot be found. File C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16\1033\IPMS.ico" Please can someone say what I am not doing or doing wrongly?

How do I restore a program to open up to what it was before?

So I was editing this .cfg file on my system and I couldn't open it so I had to change it to open with Notepad, when I did that, I forgot to uncheck the box that says, open this program with all .cfg files. And now I'm stuck, trying to figure out how I
can change it back into a .cfg file since there are no apps that I can get called .cfg. I need help

 

File names

Okay, so I made a cfg folder, and it wouldn't save as .cfg, and as text, but that's not my problem. My problem is that when I did resolve it, I changed something, so every file I save, will always save under whatever .(txt, cfg, .jar) I want. But, I don't
want that anymore, so where do I go to change that back?

However, there is an error in the instructions
The folder required to add the config file is located as detailed below for 64 Bit O/S with 32 Bit Office

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\FORMS\1033

Text for config file is below. Copy / Paste into notepad and save as SendersEmail.cfg
Add the config file to the location above and install the config file from this location as per the instructions provided.
