Windows 10: Problem update win 10 anniversary 75%

I have read a lot of people have this problem.
at 75% the installation failed. i have try with media tool e windwos update but it's the same

i have on the pc
avira
comodo firewall
malware antibytes
and malware anti exploit

Facing some issues while installing Windows 10 anniversary on Windows 10 pro machine.

I am facing some issues while installing Win 10 anniversary version on machine with Win 10 pro. But, I have easily installed win 10 anniversary on machine with Win 10 home. If i am trying to update Win 10 pro for anniversary version then it directly download
Win 10 pro update only which is higher than Anniversary version.

Kindly give suggestion for installing Win 10 anniversary version.

 

Resetting windows

I have updated my pc to the latest win 10 anniversary update. I am thinking of resetting my pc (by keeping personal files). My question is : will i get a clean install of win 10 along with the latest anniversary update or will I have to manually download
the anniversary update after the installation of basic win 10?

 

Hi, I would suggest doing a clean boot, make sure any AV is disabled, then try the upgrade.

However, note the error is
"The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during MIGRATE_DATA operation."

I'm wondering if you've relocated any user data folders or made any changes to Windows normal data structures.

You could also try running
chkdsk C: \F
from an elevated command prompt to check file structure integrity.

 

it's ok the antivirus is disabled or i need to unistalled?

My upgrade worked with Avast installed. (Whereas upgrading from Win 8.1 with Bitdefender installed left me having to uninstall and reinstall a different version).

You've chkdsk and the clean boot to try, failing other advice.

 

i have try unistall avira,clean boot and ckdisk but the same problem...75 % error and go back !

 

Make sure you've disconnected any external devices you don't need, and have nothing unusual in terms of your disk configuration in your PC (e.g. dual booting, a disk with a previous Win 10 on it... ).

Note suggestion of 'some driver incompatibility'... have you any less common programs that you can readily uninstall that either
- change or modify the GUI
- install drivers

You might think there would be a log of what happened- I've not had to look for this, so maybe someone can suggest where to look. E.g.

(I have a lot of programs installed and whilst 4 proved incompatible, only one- and that was no surprise- affected Win 10 running after installation).

i have the file LDrvPro64.sys in sistem 32 but not the program drive the life.

i cancel the file and try the update again

The problem it's that file |LDrvPro64.sys

i have upgraded with avira comodo firewall and malwarebites installed now!
