Windows 10: problem using MS Add Watermark program for my photos

After many not-quite-right attempts, I finally managed to create a custom watermark that pleased me and was positioned correctly on the photo. using Microsoft Add Watermark program But when I tried to use my newly created watermark, the program brought my watermark up in the middle of the photo, ie asking me to position it where I wanted it. I thought I had already done that! There's NO WAY I can apply this tedious process to my many 1000's of photos, one at a time, repositioning the watermark each time. I'm 70 years old - I don't have enough time left to go through all that nonsense LOL! I

Windows 7 Will Not Include Email, Photo and Movie Programs

I think people missed that MS did not say "Internet" in the program list. Just Email, Photo, Movie.

 

Lost default photo viewer after profile rebuild

Thanks Brink. I've tried those steps before i started searching Google. After the profile rebuild i don't have the Photo app listed to choose to make it default in either the system settings for default apps or the Open With option.

I can't even find it doing a search. Seems to have been removed somehow with the profile rebuild, which doesn't make sense.

Might be helpful to list what i've done I've done the open with check, the choose default program in the system menu, tried that in device manager default programs also. I've checked the programs and features Turn windows features on/off and it's not listed there (never thought it was but that was a suggestion), searched the MS Store, it's not listed there either.

I don't like playing in the registry unless i have defined steps and haven't found anything for this yet, just the Win7 version like in my OP.

I use Vuescan scanning software & with it I can select a program (such as MS Photos) to view the scanned photos when scanning is complete.
For that I would need to enter the location of the MS Photos exe file however, there doesn't seem to be an exe file for MS Photos!
Can anyone suggest how I can solve this problem.

Windows version: 20H2
