Windows 10: Problem when trying to upload images/video from my iphone to the Photos section

Been fine uploading images and video until today - now it keeps on showing "Something went wrong. Your files may not have been imported"


I have tried everything I can think of including various shut downs of both my computer and phone. even a system restore. I'm lost!

• Are your photos/videos stored on your iPhone 6, and you are trying to copy (upload) them to your Windows 10 computer?
• Are you using Windows Photos app import feature to get photos/videos from your iPhone?

Uploading photos from iphone to Windows 10

As per the info, I would like to inform that your PC might not be able to detect all the images on your phone at once. Try to imports a few of the images at a time and check if the issue replicates. For eg, 300-400 at a time. I also suggest that you follow
the instructions below and check if you are able to import all the pictures.

1) Plug your iphone into your computer

2) Now we need to make sure the iPhone establishes a connection with Windows 10.

3) WindowsKey+E -> Go to "This PC" and make sure your iPhone is listed in the "Devices and drives" section

4) Once your phone is listed launch the Photos App and you should be able to import

The key is to make sure Windows 10 detects your iPhone (step3)

how to transfer photos from iphone to pc?

There are some photos in my iphone and I want to transfer them to my pc for editing.The problem is,none of these photos was taken by iphone so it's not easy to transfer.I have done it once before but this time it doesn't work out.I really don't know which step is wrong!Could u pls help me...
