Windows 10: Problem with a new PC after installing Microsoft Windows 10.

I purchased a new HP Desktop and of course new systems come with Microsoft Windows 10. I uploaded Windows 10 along with Microsoft Office Home & Student and of course and Anti-viral software.


Shortly after using the system, periodically spontaneously and all too frequently the tower and system shuts down. I would wait a brief amt'. of time and re-boot and the system would come back on, but the screen and print (where it asks you to sign in again) is distorted. I log in and the system comes up but the screen print is distorted somewhat and the entire screen has shifted to the right, thereby truncating 15 to 20 percent of the right of the screen data and features. I am thereby disallowed the site feedback bar and any features at the top right of the screen as well as any data on the screen is now lost.


I called HP and got a Tech offshore. We spoke and he said that the new HP Systems Processors were having problems with Windows 8 Software. I replied, this is Windows 10. We spoke awhile and then he got nasty and I ended the session with him. I escalated the matter but the guy is not a Tech and they refuse to do anything. They now say there is no problem with the system when in fact there is.


Is this a Windows 10 software problem causing the Processor to malfunction repeatedly?

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP
