I’m experiencing an issue with Bluetooth audio devices on my Acer Aspire 5 laptop running Windows 10. When I connect my Soundcore by Anker Liberty 4 NC wireless earbuds and other Bluetooth headphones/earbuds, the device only connects as "Hands-Free AG Audio," and the stereo version shows as grayed out and disconnected. I’ve tried updating Bluetooth drivers, disconnecting and reconnecting the earbuds, adjusting sound settings, and disabling Hands-Free Telephony, but nothing has worked. The issue persists across multiple Bluetooth audio devices, preventing me from using high-quality stereo sou

Stereo Bluetooth Headphones do not reproduce stereo sound

Bluetooth 4.x headsets (headphones with microphone) have two modes:
    1. Stereo headset speakers with NO microphone
    2. Mono headset speakers with microphone

I see in the listing for your headphones it shows a microphone. Make sure your the audio is configured correctly so that you have stereo headphone speakers.

With your headphones connected with Bluetooth

Left-click on little speaker (bottom right on desktop)

  3. Bluetooth Audio Device (Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro) connects then disconnects.

My pre-built PC recently came across an issue where any bluetooth audio devices that weren't paired by USB connect then disconnect a few seconds later. The earbuds don't appear as an audio device in my settings or are recognized as active devices on control panel during the few moments its paired. As to how it occurred, I'm not sure, as I powered off my device then returned an hour later and then the issue started happening. The earbuds work fine with my other devices, so I'm sure it's something with the desktop, unsure as to whether its software or hardware.

    Methods I've Tried:
    Updating drivers.

Using a system restore to a backup before the issue occurred.

    Troubleshooting with the windows app.

    Removing and re-pairing the earbuds.

Removing and re-installing the signal antennae to my computer tower.

    Turning bluetooth off and on.

    Restarting the computer.

    Using the bluetooth support service.

Uninstalling the earbud's drivers then reconnecting them.

    Running the windows bluetooth troubleshooter.

Tried rollbacking the driver but its not an option.

For more information, when trying to pair the earbuds, its inconsistent. Sometimes it says its connected (not to mic or audio), simply saying "Connected" for about five seconds then disconnect (Where it should say "Connected to mic and audio."). Other times it'll immediately disconnect, and others it'll simply say an error occurred. I am on Windows 11. Wired headphones and earbuds function correctly and transmit audio. Bluetooth functioned correctly before this issue occurred. There wasn't a windows update that caused the issue to my knowledge. Tried connecting a different non-USB bluetooth audio device and ran into the same issue.

[Problem with bluetooth audio devices] My Soundcore Liberty 4 NC Stereo won't connect to my...

laptop Bluetooth pairs with cellphone and earbuds but will not connect to them

The problem: my laptop's Bluetooth pairs with my cellphone and my earbuds but will not connect to them.

Devices: HP Pavilion laptop running Windows 10 Home w/ the latest updates
    Moto G Power (2021) cellphone, Android v11
Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro earbuds w/ the latest firmware
    Soundcore app (Android)

The phone has no trouble connecting to the earbuds, but:

-- The laptop's Bluetooth says it's paired with both the Moto G and the Liberty 3 earbuds, it won't connect to them. Windows' Device Manager does have both the phone and the earbuds listed under "Bluetooth."

-- The Moto's Bluetooth lists the laptop as "Previously connected" but when I try to re-connect there's a brief flash of "Connecting" then goes back to paired-but-not-connected. It will do this over and over. The same thing happens when I try to connect the earbuds to the laptop directly from the phone.

-- If I try to connect via the Soundcore app, using "Add device," the app searches but doesn't find the laptop. When I select "Set up manually" from the app's "Don't see your device?" screen, I get a list of other headphone and speaker, but not PCs. "Don't see your device?" on that screen says that the app only supports the devices on the list. But I assume that this won't matter if I can get the laptop connected directly to the earbuds.

    So:
-- Why does the laptop refuse to connect to the phone or the earbuds that it's paired with? Why does the phone refuse to connect with the laptop?

-- Things I've tried, after looking at lots of online suggestions (none of them have worked):

: Removing the phone and the earbuds from the laptop's Bluetooth and re-pairing them again.

: Restarting the laptop and the phone, and turning them off and then on again, separately and together.

: Turning Bluetooth off and then on again, separately for the laptop and the phone and together for the two devices.

: Making sure that the laptop's Bluetooth Support Service is running and is set on Automatic Startup and Bluetooth user Support Service is set on Manual (Trigger Start).

: Checking the laptop's Bluetooth driver; Windows says it has the latest driver.

    : Running Windows' Bluetooth troubleshooter.

    Suggestions?

    Thanks --

I'm also sending this request to HP, Motorola, & Soundcore tech support.
