  1. Problem with mouse sensitivity

    Good evening,

For the last few weeks i've been trying to find out what's the issue and how come my mouse doesn't have the same sensitivity after i've been changing from win 7 to win 10.

I currently have installed win 10 pro and i've been trying to perform any troubleshooting i could possibly find. I just noticed that i'm not the first person experiencing this type of issue and it was a thread which is now locked and i can't really answer to that.

These are the steps i've done so far and the mouse sensitivity hasn't improved

    - Reinstalling Windows 10, Pro and Home multiple times.

    - Reinstalling all drivers and making sure they are up to date.

    - Changing USB Ports.

    - Changing Mice.

    - Disabling "enhance mouse pointer precision".

    - Using MarkC mousefix.

    - Disabling Xbox Game DVR and Cortana.

    - Cleaning mouse sensor and PC.

    - Changing mouse Polling Rate and DPI.

    - Changing my Mousemat.

From the moment i started using win 10 my mouse feels like it has some sort of acceleration and i'm not able to find where it is and how to switch it off.

    I'm using the following gear:

    zowie ec2-a mouse

    I7-9700k 3.6ghz

    Asus rog strix z390E gaming

    16gb ddr4 3600mhz

    Nvidia windforce 8gb

i changed my mouse and i used Steelseries Sensei and it has exactly the same problem. I'm playing with 400dpi and 6/11 win sens

please let me know what steps to follow and whether you managed to solve the problem for the previous person who had this issue. We might try to replicate the steps and see if will work.

    Thanks,

    Razvan

    :)

    Problem with mouse sensitivity

Mouse sensitivity changed by itself. It feels weird, incosistant, like it's on ice.

    Hi,

We see that you are having issues with the sensitivity of your mouse. Is the Enhance pointer precision in your PC enabled? If not, you can follow the steps below:

    • Type Mouse in the Search bar.
    • Click on Mouse and Touchpad settings.
    • Click on the Additional mouse options.
    • Click on the Pointer Options tab.
    • Uncheck the Enhance pointer precision checkbox.

If the issue persists, we suggest you to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter. Follow the steps provided below:

    • Type Troubleshooting in the Search bar and press Enter.
    • Click on View All in the top left corner.
    • This will display the list of troubleshooters which are built-in in the computer. You can click on
Hardware and Devices from the list and you can run the troubleshooter.
