Windows 10: Problem with restart

I use Asus ROG laptop running on Windows 10. I am having a serious problem lately. My laptop just keeps rebooting after i press a button on my keyboard. Wierd enough, it only does that when I press a button with a letter on it. Win key, space, numbers etc. don't do anyting. I first noticed it when I was playing a gameRisk of Rain 2 and tried to make a screenshot with gaming panelWin+G. It rebooted. Today it happened again. I succesfully managed to make one screenshot in Brawlhalla and then tried to make another one, but when I tried to open gaming panel - laptop rebooted. I tried this again and result was the same. After the next reboot i attempted to find a solution on the internet, but when I tried to type - it rebooted again. After that reboot I got the blue screen that said something about windows booting up wrong. I am seriously concerned about it and would appreciate any help

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

 

Hard drive/ OS issue

Thanks for your patient help and analysis, zbook. I'll step through some of your suggestions over the next few days - there's a lot to do and some look a bit hairy! That is, for a PC that is working sweetly right now...
