Windows 10: Problem with software RAID

I have four 4TB drives I created a software RAID 5 on. When accessing the volume, specifically writing to it, my PC becomes noticeably less stable; as in, a video's audio stream stopping for a few milliseconds like when playing a really high-bitrate file from a hard drive that can't quite keep up.

Could the way I have set up my drives be a problem? Three drives are connected via a PCI controller card, while the fourth drive is connected directly to the mainboard (it's difficult to explain - but it's my only option to connect the drives, other than buying a new controller card).

One more thing: I originally wanted to go with hardware RAID and bought a used 3ware RAID controller. Sadly, there seem to be no W10 drivers, resulting in the RAID volume not being recognized by Windows.

remove royal raid

As per the description, I understand that you are experiencing issue with you are not able to uninstall “Royal Raid” app on the system.

I certainly understand your concern and will try my best to help you.

I would suggest you to follow the steps given below and check if that helps.

• Click on the “Start” menu.
• Type “appwiz.cpl” into the search field and press “Enter”. The “Uninstall or change programs” window will open.
• Click on “royal raid” in the list of programs.
• Click on “Uninstall”.
• Select “Yes” when asked to confirm that you want to uninstall royal raid from your computer.

Note: Your computer will then begin uninstalling the app and may take up to several minutes.
