Windows 10: Problem with the slideshow feature in the lock screen

Hello Everyone

This is Sagnik. I am a user of Dell Inspiron 3583 and Windows 10 Home Version 2004.


I am having a concern with the slideshow feature in the lock screen bar. Whenever I click on it, and select the folder from which I want the images, the images are not being selected and the slideshow is not being carried out.


Can you guys suggest me what should I do to solve this?

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps. Refer to the below steps:

• 
  Type Lock screen in the search bar and press enter
  
• 
  Select Advanced Slideshow settings
  
• 
  Click on Turn off screen after slideshow has played for and select the time limit

So i just tried the lock screen slideshow when the date changed to march 1st and now it works again, WTF?

My first step in troubleshooting a network wide problem on February 29th from now on is going to be to roll back the date and see what happens. It's caused by the leap year strangely enough, it will work fine tomorrow. Also if you change the date it will fix the problem. Thanks Microsoft... *Huh
