  2. Windows 10 Problem

After I updated Windows 10 today as I was instructed, I can no longer get on the internet. My wifi no longer shows up to click on it. It was working fine until I allowed the install. I have tried restarting the HP Spectre x 369 laptop and the router,
but this has not helped. (I am using a borrowed Apple computer to search for a solution.) I need help to get back online. Can anyone help or tell me who I might contact for help?

Problem with connecting with a website with Windows 10. Help!

Thank you, Deepika, but It didn't help. The website is "ui.texasworkforce.org" or "www.texasworkforce.org" When I did the command prompt, it says "ui" and "org" are not recognized
as commands. I really need to get on this website. Cannot understand what is going on. When I had the Uverse repairman here he typed "ui.texasworkforce.org, and got on the website, so there is nothing wrong with the website, some setting on my computer
is not allowing me to access this website. Help!

What is the URL of the site, see if we can replicate the problem? What is providing that message, antivirus or antimalware program and which one?

Well, Berton, first, thanks for your quick reply! As to who or what is providing the message, I haven't the faintest idea! It's at the top of every page! I can tell you this: When I look for stuff on the site, I'm OK until I click on the photo for further info, & then, well, you'll see!

When I clicked your link that 'warning' was on the top of the very first page that opened. I tried a couple of other links and get the impression the Web site is either poorly designed or incomplete.

Those messages can only come from the server itself. It's misconfigured, or poorly written. This is a problem with the site itself, and nothing you can do about it.

This is actually written into the website code. Maybe it should have been hidden from public view
<!-- code -->and meant only for the website developer and administrator to see. IMO.

<div class="messageStackWarning larger"><img src="includes/templates/toysity/images/icons/warning.gif" alt="Warning" title=" Warning " width="50" height="50" /> Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/content/t/o/y/toysity/html/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file (read-only, CHMOD 644 or 444 are typical). You may need to use your webhost control panel/file-manager to change the permissions effectively. Contact your webhost for assistance. <a href="Zen Cart Support - Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file..." target="_blank">See this FAQ</a></div>

Also looks like a private hosting service with server side issues.

And yet they still remain in business, with new products coming out every month! Perhaps they cater to customers who still use a Kaypro or Commodore 64!
