Windows 10: Problem with windows 10 20h2 update

After installing the latest version of Windows 10, I had so many problems. Some keys of my laptop are not working on the other hand, in every browser, I can't type anything on the address bar because it opens random tabs and which is very frustrating. I can't even watch a video. Whenever I opened a video it automatically skipped to the end. The soundbar is always on the side. My touchpad isn't working anymore. Random apps open by itself.

I ran a deep scan by Windows Defender and Malwarebyte. I ran two hardware tests by Dell support, it's said that everything is ok.

I tried to go back to the previous version but it's said, I installed the new version more than 10 days ago!!!!

I can't see any way ahead of me. What is the problem with my laptop?

20H2 should not be installed right-away on your device - MS said the rollout is only to a fraction of users and would be labeled as an optional update initially. Are you enrolled in WIP?

You may uninstall 20H2 using the steps below:

Problem with Windows 10 update

interesting, I think we will be holding fire on that particular update for a while yet then.

If it doesn't affect anything else, I'll start with what zbook says, it will have to be in stages though. Tonight I'll run the RAM check, and hopefully tomorrow I'll check all drives (check what exactly ?), and backup important files (what files are those, do you mean photos, mp3, personal files etc ?) . I've got plenty of flash drives, but I'll get the first 3 steps done first.

 

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:

• Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
• Try different keyboard or mouse.
• Restart computer, repeatedly.
• Google for related issues.
• Update Bios, because why not.
• Create boot media and revert to windows 7.

The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.
