  1. Problems addressing security issues found on my device.

Hello. Anyone kind enough to offer myself assistance in resolving these issues, I can assure you that your time spent helping me out is massively appreciated.

I ran the Microsoft baseline security scan on my device as I have been experiencing some odd behaviour occurring whilst using my device. (Results Uploaded).

I am trying to resolve one of the issues detected on the scan and I am being instructed in the article for resolving this issue to do so by auditing the systems Local Security settings of the pc. However after following these to the letter, I am finding that there seems to be no Local Security Policies available on the device for me to carry out auditing upon.

Is the standard for my type of OS and if so, how can I go about rectifying the issue as directed by another method.

Again, so grateful for anyone's help in regards to this matter.....

    :)

Nokia E71 WLAN network not found despite it being there!

Hi. My problem was resolved by accessing the router ip address security settings. I found that my router was locked down to only allow my laptop to receive a wireless connection from the router. Having accessed the settings, I had to add the phone as an
additional device with a mac address (found on the side of your mobile phone box) and it worked ever since.

  3. E71 Mail for Exchange not working with ssl

    Hi, I had similar problem.

I found the issue to be with IIS - my IP address was restricted. Under IIS configuration for Default Site - Directory Security - IP Addresses, most addresses were denied access. I just allowed access for all IPs and applied.

    This fixed it.

    Regards,

Which issue are you having trouble with? Most of those are pretty set explanatory.

Group Policy (Local Security Policies) is not available in Windows 10 Home.

If you post the issue you're having, maybe someone here and can help you with it.

FYI ... A scan of my system shows the same thing and automatic updates are working fine.

The most recent version I can find is the 'Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer 2.3 (for IT Professionals)'. Note that this does not support Windows 10.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/down...s.aspx?id=7558

The one and only 'Severe Risk' listed in your report is due to MSBA not understanding how windows update works in Windows 10. You should ignore this one.
The others are just warnings that some accounts have no password, or no expiry date for their password. This is normal on a typical Windows 10 install.
