Windows 10: Problems installing HP 5610 Officejet All-in-one Printer

    Problems installing HP 5610 Officejet All-in-one Printer


    Just purchased a HP Slimline 290 Tower. After solving the issue with using the existing monitor, I'm now having a problem with installing the printer. Have the installation CD for the HP 5610 and tried to install it. Got the message " This system does not meet one or more of the minimum requirements needed to install this product. The installation cannot continue".


    Under Details and Guidance:

    The Operating System on this computer is not supported. The installation cannot continue until this is resolved.

    Current OS: 602.64

    Supported: Windows 2000, Windows XP

    Action Required: Click Cancel to exit this software installation. Install this product on a computer that is running one of the supported Microsoft operating systems or refer to your computers documentation for information on upgrading your computers operating system.


    For the tower it says the OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Home Version 10.0.18362 Build 18362 BIOS Ver/Date AMI F.30 4/29/2019.


    Why am I getting this message and how do I fix it?

    Installing HP Officejet Printer

    I am trying to install a HP Officejet 4622 printer to my HP Pavilion (All-in-One). The problem is:

    1. I don't have the disk anymore

    2. When I look for it on the computer its not listing

    3. I want to have this printer installed, so that I can use it wireless

    4. I'm operating on Windows 10

    HP Officejet 5610 not working

    Since updating Windows 10 yesterday my HP Officejet 5610 printer will not open.

    I have reinstalled the drivers from HP's website this has not worked. I have the following message when running 'Program Compatibility Trobleshooter' Incompatible Program detected.

    Any ideas?

    When you connect a printer to your PC or add a new printer to your home network, you can usually start printing right away. Windows supports most printers, and you probably won't have to go out of your way to install special printer software.

    I suggest you to visit the Manufacturer website and try to download the latest drivers and check.
