    Hi Folks,

    I recently tried to upgrade my Toshiba laptop from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 using the official Widows Update link.
    The upgrade failed at 71% 0verall, and flagged up the following errors:

    VIDEO.DXGKRNL.FATAL.ERROR
    UNEXPECTED.KERNEL.MODE.TRAP. (ia StorA.sys)

    The O.S. then rolled back to Widows 8.1, which operated normally, without any issues.

    My laptop is a fairly new Toshiba P50T-A-125 running Windows 8.1 x 64, with an Intel i7 processor, 1 TB HDD and 12 GB RAM.

    Strangely enough, I have since carried out a 100% trouble-free Win 7 Pro to Win 10 upgrade on my desktop, without a single hitch! Everything went like clockwork.

    Can anyone advise what the problem could be with the Win 8.1 to Win 10 upgrade?
