Windows 10: PROBLEMS WINDOWS DEFENDER

Hi,


Is anyone else having problems with Windows Defender? It's blocking certain files from operating properly. When I try to play my Sims 4 games it blocks it from opening. It's thinking the game is a virus. But this isn't the only one. I get: Unauthorized Changes Blocked. Controlled Access Blocked.


I had Advance Systemcare and then I uninstalled it, this is when the problems began. I didn't have this problem before even I was using Windows Defender.


What's causing this and how can I change it.

To troubleshoot this issue, we suggest that you check the Windows Defender service if it's running. If you are using a third party spyware/malware program, it may disable the Windows Defender service. To do this, please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + R key.
• Type services.msc.
• Right-click Windows Defender service and click
  Start.
