Windows 10: problems with 2 updates KB4580325 AND KB4577671

Hi,

Im new here. Please help.

My laptop is having problems installing 2 updates. I have windows home edition. Its been over a month and a half that I've been trying to install these updates. The message I get is to restart required. Its very frustrating.

the first is an update for Adobe flash player Microsoft 10 version 1909 64 bit KB4580325.

the second is the cumulative update for Windows 10 version 1909 64 bit KB4577671.


Any ideas, solutions would be much appreciated.

Intel Updates Core 2 Quad Q9550 to E-0 Stepping

We continue our Monday news list with another Intel story that brings to our attention information concerning the company and more specificly its 2.83GHz Core 2 Quad Q9550 chips that will move from the current C-1 to the newer E-0 stepping. The updated chips will start selling on August 22nd, featuring the following changes:

• New SSpec and MM numbers for the converting products
• CPUID will change from 0x10677 to 0x1067A
• Package change to Halide free package

Apart from that, the new stepping CPUs will not include any other changes. Of course, like most new stepping parts a BIOS update will be needed.

It would be best to temporary pause updates until a fix is release about the issue. You can pause updates up to 35 days by clicking "Pause updates" multiple times

or to prevent the KB4577671 update from being reinstalled by Windows Update, use the “Show or Hide Updates” troubleshooter to hide the update. Window Update won’t install hidden updates.

I would also recommend to send comments and suggestions about the issue through Feedback Hub App. Hopefully Microsoft will notice this and release a fix soon.

This is normal since support for it is included in Windows 10 by default.
