    Problems with AnyCast in Windows 10


    Hello,

    I am testing my AnyCast with both mobile and Windows 10 and while on Android cast works very well, the same does not happen with Windows 10.

    I am using Miracast and the device is from EzMira and followed instructions at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXLQYS29tMI

    In one of the PCs, I can't connect (message couldn't connect), while on the other, I can connect but the TV shows a black screen without image or sound.

    Can you help?

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

    Share this information to assist you better.

    1. Have you tried connecting Anycast Wifi dongle on other device?
    2. Have you tried to connect the dongle to a different USB port on the system
    3. Do you get any error message before the dongle restarts?


    In the meantime, please try to check if there any pending updates.



    1. Please click on start and click on settings
    2. Click on “update and security” and go to “Windows updates”
    3. Please click on “Check for updates” to find any pending update and install them

    Could not connect to Anycast

    I just bought hdmi dongle Anycast.

    My devices (samsung tablet, xiaomi smartphone) is succesfully mirroring to tv by using Anycast.

    The problem is my laptop (thinkpad x1 carbon, win 10 64 bit) only connecting just for about 1 second (tv display is blank and note in windows 10: connected)) and then back to disconnected.

    My graphic driver is supporting miracast.

    Firmware Anycast is updated.

    My windows 10 is updated.

    Pls help me. Thx.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
