    Problems with customising Control Panel applet icons


    Hello Guys,

    I am having some problems with the following:

    1. I'm unable to change the Mail applet icon in the control panel even after I've pointed its registry key to the desired icon. It just wouldn't change.
    2. I'm unable to find the Flash Player (32-bit) GUID. Without this GUID, I cannot change its applet icon.

    Windows 10 Date Format

    you can actually customise (edit) the setting to what you want if you go open the region applet and click the "Additional settings.." button on the lower right.

    how to open the region applet?

    open control panel,click "clock, Language and region" section's "Change Date, Time, or number formats"

    Yes, that sounds like a problem with a Control Panel applet.

    If you could find a problematic one you could rename the applet and then upgrade to Windows 10.
