Problems with games I downloaded from the Microsoft Store

The other day I purchased the PC game pass, then promptly downloaded Outer Worlds. The game downloaded fine, it took most of the day since it's a large game, but when I tried to access it this morning, there was no history of it ever downloading. It wasn't in my Library, it wasn't downloaded on my hard drive, it just wasn't there.

So, I tried redownloading it, only to run into the same issue. I would hit "install," and the download finished within seconds. I would click install, then immediately get the notification that my download was finish. Still, no game in my library, no game in my download history, and no game on my hard drive. This is the account I have set up with the gamepass, so it couldn't have gone to a different account.

I had the app in my start menu, but it would never launch whenever I hit run. Also, as I said, the Outer Worlds program was nowhere on my hard drive.

I hope I selected the right categories for this question. Any help or info you could provide would be greatly appreciated, as this is my first experience using the Microsoft Store to download and run games.

    :)
