Windows 10: Problems with latest WIndows 10 Insider build installation

Hi,


For the last couple of days my Windows 10 has been attempting to install the latest insider build. However, it gets to a point where the blue windows logo is showing, and a circle of dots which spins beneath it, then seems to just hang.


I have been able to re-establish access to the PC by powering off 3 times until I get the repair option, at which point simply choosing the restart option seems to allow the PC to get back to a working state, but I am a bit concerned that something is obviously going wrong somewhere; At one point it did flash up a "green screen of death" with the message "Driver PnP watchdog", but I have since been unable to recreate the error to get the message again!


I have now opted out of the insider program, as it just seems to be causing problems - however I'm concerned that something more might be wrong with my hardware. A quick glance at the event viewer doesn't seem to shed much light on it... would anyone be able to give me some advice on how to diagnose the problem further?

use the key you need for the build and run those lines in cmd to activate

I suggest running those commands as administrator. Just in case.

Windows 10 Activation (Insider)

Like Pill Monster said no more Windows 10 keys for Insiders. It was on Microsoft Blog they said that all that stuff is tied to one machine. You can upgrade anytime but never make a clean install. Those people who upgraded from 7 or 8.1 to 10 can do a clean install of RTM and post-RTM builds. A friend of mine upgraded from RTM to 10533 or whatever the latest post-RTM build is (and it activated just fine).

After all MS isn't stupid to give Windows 10 for free.

 

Unable to install latest insider preview build

Hi,

Currently I am on 14986 build and unable to install the latest build and keep getting the pop-up message to install the latest build. As I am trying to update the build but it's keep failing and getting error. Is there any direct link to download and install
the latest insider preview build. Please give any suggestion to help me out.
