Windows 10: Problems with OneNote 2013

I use OneNote 2013 on my PC because I was able to buy a license when I worked for a company that provided copies for its employees -- and I've not had problems with it.

But recently, I noticed my Notebook sections were badly out of date, and rather than update them in NoteBook, I exported them to MS Word, made lots of changes there, and imported them back into OneNote.

Now, however, I notice that I can no longer make any changes to the OneNote section pages. I click on them and I can not position the mouse cursor on a word or letter and while I can go through this Export to Word -- make the changes -- reimport from Word, I would rather not do that for every single trivial change.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Send to onenote

Hi,

It may be an issue with the add ins in OneNote, we suggest that you disable OneNote add-on and enable it. To do so, follow the steps below:

• Open Internet Explorer.
• Click Manage add-ons.
• On the left pane, click Toolbars and Extensions.
• On the right hand side of the page check for Send to OneNote add-on. Highlight
  Send to OneNote and click on disable.
• Once the add-on is disabled highlight the add-on again and enable it.

Note: To enable the File menu in Internet Explorer press the
Alt key on your keyboard.

You may also perform an online repair in Office 2007, to do an Online repair, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + X.
• Click Control Panel.
• Click Programs and Features.
• Right click Microsoft Office, click Change.
  
• Choose Online repair.
• Follow the on-screen instructions.

WM6.5 + Office 2013: Microsoft OneNote: Attention Required

This topic has been discussed at length in other contexts (WM6.1, Office 2007...) with no real guaranteed fix, so I'm opening up a new thread for my particular situation.

I own a WM6.5 HTC HD2 that works like a charm and that I sync against my Windows 8.1 / Office 2013 (365) laptop using WMDC 6.1.6965. Everything syncs fine (Address Book Calendar, Tasks, Files) except for OneNote 2013. I get the dreaded "Microsoft OneNote:
Attention Required" message if I enable OneNote syncing.



I've tried reconfiguring the location of save/backup/cache folders in OneNote, as suggested around here, to no avail.

I've even moved all notes away from the active folders, JIC they would contain data that would cause the sync to fail.

Note: for some reason, the OneNote sync in WMDC shows a generic icon instead of the OneNote icon.



Any clue?

I suggest you try restart your Computer and try to open your OneNote . if issue still persists, I kindly suggest you to follow the steps mentioned by Ruxo in the following thread which discusses about how to uninstall OneNote .
