Windows 10: Problems with the "æ" key on a Danish keyboard

I'm having a problem with the æ key using a Danish keyboard.


When I press it, nothing happens - and if I press it repeatedly, the keyboard shifts to English and I get ; instead and have to switch the keyboard back to Danish.


If I hold it, there is a small pause, and then I get "æææææææ." There seems to be no way to simply get one letter.


This problem doesn't seem to affect any of the other Danish characters - ø and å are fine.


I've seen other similar problems posted a long time ago on Win7 systems, but haven't found an answer. Is there something that can be done about this?

Danish keyboard missing Danish characters


Has changed my keyboard layout to Danish. There are 3 special characters in Danish (AE OE an AA). They have vanished as well as the Alt/gr characters have moved to other places. Any explanation?
It seem as if I have got original keyboard setup with Upper, gives < where it used to give me semicolon.

 

Keyboard Volume Keys not working while in-game

I happen to have used the Tt Challenger Pro keyboard in the past, and the volume keys worked flawlessly in every game, so it's indeed a weird problem. I would suggest the same thing sneekypeet suggested, using the keyboard software and assign this function to a hotkey, but you said that didn't work either, so yeah...
