  2. I did go to device manager uninstalled it and i did not work. Then I went to add and remove to add and remove the package but it said it could not fully uninstall. I tried just installing the package after I uninstalled and it says it is already installed but yet it is not in add and remove. I took a picture of what it said.. There is a hang up somewhere.

  5. Ok will try it. There were two packages of Gestures in the installed in control panel add and remove and I removed them both it is stalled but did not fix the keys issue. They all have problems that is why I am working on them not just the volume buttons. Then this appeared on the screen after installed the drivers.

If you start control panel an go to programs, the old way, are there Asus products installed? Not saying to delete but are there programs listed.

  10. All these damn vendors should have a removal tool.

Now that program is removed it might not work but have you ever used Revo Uninstaller. Worth a shot.

Did you say you were having issues with other Asus products. I see gesture is still in and I will havce to look up Asusvibe.

  11. I was just stating that none of the F buttons work on this computer. The regular keys do I am typing you on those. Somehow all the F keys are screwed up. I do not know what my uncle did but wow what a mess. So should I try uninstalling with revo then reinstall Gestures again. I have a question though I was thinking, In c I saw all these Vista Drivers which were confusing which might be the problem. How do I find out which windows OS this laptop originally came with?

There may be a COA/Certificate of Authenticity sticker with the Product Key for Win7 on the case or with Win8/8.1 there usually is a sticker saying just Windows 8, no Product Key. With Notebooks one might find the sticker in the battery compartment. I've not purchased a new Notebook that came with Win10 yet.

The ATK Package utility has various components in it, ACPI driver and the Function keys, it would seem.
What you are looking for is the bit for the function keys.

Depends how ASUS have arranged it, whether the two drivers can be installed separately.
You have messed with some other drivers now, complicating things. Nothing ASUS in your screen shot is relevant.

DO NOT USE REVO, or any other uninstaller you will mess up further. Sorry, but I'm very insistent on that point. That will likely result in you needing a whole re-install of Windows.

The Windows 10 ATK package (ATKACPI driver and hotkey-related utilities) is downloadable from ASUS, just looked, it's the Windows 8.1 version but just use Windows 8 compatibility mode on setup to install should be OK.
