Windows 10: Product key deactivated when changing computer.

For christmas I got a new motherboard and a new CPU. Now windows says my copy of Windows 10 is not genuine. When I try to make it reactivate with the digital key on my account, it says the servers are down. (My laptop is on the same account and is genuine. (Just save the key in a system file. Stop making us go through this)

If you swap out the SSD and put in a new one and then install Windows, it would not be activated. The buyer will have to activate himself by getting a product key. Windows may not be activated on whatever PC you put the old SSD on, because of major
hardware changes. Some minor changes, such as installing more RAM, should not deactivate Windows. I have installed a second processor on a computer and it did not deactivate.

How do I deactivate a Windows product key from another computer? All the answers I found refer to deactivating a product key on the same machine but I can't do that because the the machine was reinstalled with Linux without deactivating the product key.
My case is specifically for Windows 7 but for the sake of the question if there's a method that works for all versions of Windows that be preferred.

Deactivating Product Key on Old Computer to use on New

I recently inquired a new computer that is extremely faster than my old one. (i am using Parallels on Mac's)

I supposedly deactivated the product key on my old computer, (it said that it successfully deactivated). On the new computer, when I enter the product key it says it has already been used on a different computer.
