Windows 10: Product key find

So my problem is quite complicated and completely my fault but I hope I can get some help. I was trying to fix some really weird network issues that started months after building my PC . It had been working in perfect condition but suddenly stopped connecting correctly. In an attempt to fix it I tried using a tool to reinstall/refresh Windows but I guess I restarted my computer before it had finished and when I tried to boot the PC it was asking for the Windows install and product key. I tried looking at my confirmation email but I can’t view the product key probably because it’s been so long.

Where is my Product Key if I want to re-install?


Like davidhk said. But if you really want to see your windows key, I would suggest Belarc advisor. It will give you some useful information about your system, product keys of your software is among them (not only Microsoft, you will have listed most of your keys).

i know the product id but forget the product key

There is still a way to search for your product key. Kindly follow the steps below for you to know your product key:

• Press Windows key + X
• Click Command Prompt (admin)
• Enter the following command: wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey
• Then hit Enter

The product key will be revealed, copy the product key then enter it.
