Windows 10: Product key not working

Hi,


I downloaded Windows 10 Education N from OnTheHub website using my organization account, but when I install it, I does not ask for the product key during the installation process, instead it just installs Windows 10 Home which gets activated automatically with a digital license once I am online and when I try to enter the product key they gave me to upgrade to the Education edition, it says the product key is not working and shows me this error code 0xc004f050. How can I solve this plz? thx a lot

i know the product id but forget the product key

There is still a way to search for your product key. Kindly follow the steps below for you to know your product key:

• Press Windows key + X
• Click Command Prompt (admin)
• Enter the following command: wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey
• Then hit Enter

The product key will be revealed, copy the product key then enter it.

Give us an update on what happens.

I suggest you to try to activate Windows by phone by following the steps below:

• Press “Windows key + R” and type “slui 4” and press Enter.
• Select your Region/Country.
• Select the Phone Activation option, and hold on for a real person.
