Windows 10: Program Freezing. Will not allow me to click out of the window.

This came out at random.

For some reason my computer gets stuck on one selected window and whenever I want to click out of it and go to another program or window, it doesn't select it. Along with that my toolbar is unresponsive and I cannot click on anything in my desktop. The only way to stop it is by either pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE or opening up Task Manager and restarting Windows Explorer.


I have tried all techniques to fix this problem:

sfc /scannow

disk cleaning

even resetting my entire computer.


One thing to note though is that when I open my Task Manager my Disk is at 100% but I also tried all of the tips the internet has provided and yet it still has 100% activity.


I literally have done everything on the Microsoft Forum Pages and other outside sources, but yet this "freezing" whatever it's called still happens. It gets really annoying when I have to do assignments for college, and personal art projects.


Please help!!

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

Thanks for the reply. Since the Creator's Update is giving you some issues, we suggest reverting back to the previous update. Here are the steps:

• Open Settings window.
• Click Update and Security, then Recovery.
• Select Get Started, under Go back section.

Once done, it will restart your PC. After the restart, please do check if you'll still experience freeze moments on any programs you are working on.

Problem allowing program through firewall in Windows 10.

Before assisting further, I would like to ask you few questions:

• 
  Does the issue persists with a particular program?
  
• 
  Did you check if you are facing similar issue when you allow other programs through the firewall?
  

I suggest you to check if similar issue persists if you allow other program to allow through the firewall and when on reboot the program is disabled.



If the issue persists, I suggest you to contact the program developer and check with the program settings.
