Windows 10: program slowdown

A now ancient, but extremely useful and functionally rare program called Kleptomania for capturing text that Windows prevents you from copying is showing the marked slow-down that security programs are always claiming with YES YOUR PC IS SLOWING DOWN - IT IS NOT AN ILLUSION. I have not noticed the slow-down in other programs in my x32Win10ProV22H2. The only cause I can think of is increasing incompatibility as Windows keeps on being updated inexorably. I don't believe that the program can be 'wearing out'. Is there another explanation, or is there a remedy ?

• Have you done any changes on your computer prior to the issue?

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
