  1. Program started by task scheduler does not automatically gain focus

    Hi.

I have a PC I want to open Kodi as soon as it boots up. I used task scheduler to accomplish this, but Kodi loses focus to the start bar immediately.

How can I make Kodi take focus?

    Thanks

  2. Task Scheduler service will not start.

first, the computer does update regularly but its hard to say if this started directly after one

second, the exact error message is "The Task Scheduler Service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if not in use by other services or programs"

third, Running the Task Scheduler program doesn't seem to have any effect, and the first thing to come up when i do is a message saying "Unable to connect to remote computer"

  3. Task Scheduler service will not start.

ok, first, Restart is grayed out when i try to right click, only start is available. every time i select that i get the same "The Task Scheduler Service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some
services stop automatically if not in use by other services or programs" message.

already tried SFC before asking, did not work. tried DISM, and that solved nothing.

  4. Program started by task scheduler does not automatically gain focus

Changing focus to app started with Task Scheduler

I use the method of Task Scheduler to start apps with admin privileges via shortcut to bypass the UAC.

How ever, I cannot seem to make it switch focus to the started app. It used to be that case in Win 7 when ever I started such link.

How can I make it to work again? Before you suggest it: No, I'm not turning off UAC.
