Programmatic access of internal GPS in Win10 Surface Pro

We have a number of new Win10 x64 Surface Pro LTE units with internal GPS. Can someone pls point me to information on accessing the GPS device/data programmatically, i.e. at the application developer's level, not at the user's UI level. I think I have established that the internal GPS is NOT accessed by communication over a virtual Com port, but need a bit of help finding references on how one does access it. TIA

    :)

    GPS problem: Dell Venue 11 Pro 7140 + WWAN 5810e + Win10

    Hi,

Since your Internal GPS on WWAN card is not working, I suggest that you try these troubleshooting steps:

    • Update the driver on device manager
    • Uninstall / Reinstall the device driver
If none of the steps above worked, you have to contact the device manufacturer for further assistance. You can contact them through this

    link
. Kindly note that you have to change the appropriate country located at the bottom right part of the page.

    Regards.
