    Programs not responding properly or at all.


    I was messing with creating a map for Cities Skylines. I went to the terrain party and downloaded the file. I then went into appdata and found the proper place to drop the download. I was editing it and decided to put it away and move on to something else. I looked at my games file and all the files were "shadowed". Well all except for Cities Skylines. Then I looked at my desktop and it was the same except for the recycle bin. I was missing This PC app from the - I don't know what you call the right hand spot in the start menu on windows 10 - start menu, as well as my.com. I used ask cortana who found it but I can't select anything from ask cortana. Ot simply will not click. This initially sounds like something wrong with explorer. I am not certain. I was hoping to find out something here but can not find a description matching the trouble.

    Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.


    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    Program not functioning properly

    Since the installer you used is the latest version available, we suggest that you follow the steps to install the third party music application using

    compatibility mode     in Windows 10. Also included in the steps is running the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter, this would automatically detect and correct some of the most common issues preventing applications to run or install properly.

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
