    Yes I don't believe I've got an answer you get back from Mr Smith so I'm still up in the air with my factory reset I've been prompted with the TPM trusted platform and I've done a little research and I do have a driver problem so maybe reset these guys are good thing let me know as soon as I just continue or reset them and your keys. Yes I know resetting the TPMS will make me uninstall reinstall drivers only thing RCA isn't the best at giving you information their phone number don't even work in the drivers are from somebody who promotes them on a different website besides the actual driver's name stupid so I don't have the driver so curious if I continue really not configure the drivers and I'll still be having the same problem with them or do I reset the TPMS and locate those Prix excuse my language waitress waitress I'll be up waiting for anybody reply familiar with this thank you waitress waitress where she go she was just right here

    Clear tpm

    Hi I'm trying to reset my laptop to factory settings and its saying clear TPM. Or configuration change was requested for this computer's TPM.

    Windows 10 Factory Reset - request to clear TPM - what data is cleared

    I'm trying to preform a factory reset on my Acer Aspire laptop with a full clean disk.

    I've been met with a black and blue screen with the message

    I'm wondering what kind of data this will delete? I want to start fresh and have Windows 10 reinstall itself again. But will it delete important keys like the Product Key and data for the OS reinstallation? Or will it just delete old encrypted file like videos, music, pictures, documents, etc that I don't care about - therefore I should choose YES.

    I'm not reinstalling Windows 10 from a USB or DVD btw.

    Hi guys,

    I was doing reset my Windows 10 Dell 5559 laptop to factory Setting.

    got this message after screen had stuck on 99% during reset the message displayed is

    "A configuration change was requested to clear this computer's TPM (Trusted Platform Module)

    WARNING: Clearing erases information stored on the TPM. You will lose all created keys and access to data encrypted by these keys.

    Press F12 or Volume Up to clear the TPM Press ESC or Volume Down to reject the change request and continue"

    I tried a lot to know what it is actually ,but failed to understand

    I just don't know whether to press F12 or ESC, and what if I press ESC is it ok?

    (please advise , the laptop is running since 8 hours.)
