Windows 10: Proxy server keeps turning on

Hi,I wonder if someone could help me with a potential malware/unwanted program issue. I've noticed recently that in my computer's proxy settings, in 'Manual proxy setup', the 'Use a proxy server' setting continually switches back on, and displays Proxy IP address as 'http://https=localhost' and a Port as 2520 although that number sometimes changes. A lot of apps e.g., Mail, etc. are suddenly now saying 'Proxy error' and not connecting. Microsoft Safety Scanner and other malware/virus scans haven't shown any problems yet, but after reading about this online, I have some reason to believe tha

Proxy server

• For quite some time after a Microsoft Update I have had to manually turn off the proxy server each day in order to get on the internet. The "Save" button is greyed out, so unable to save the turned off setting. I have spoken to techs about this and they
  ran some tests, but to no avail. Any suggestions? It's a pain to have to redo this each day when I restart my laptop.

 

Unable to connect to Google servers

There are cases that web content are blocked due to proxy server settings. We suggest that you remove the check mark on the the proxy server box, follow the steps below:

• Type Internet Options in the Ask me anything bar.
• Click on Connections tab.
• Click on LAN settings.
• Remove check in Proxy server box.
  

Once done, access your Google apps and check if issue persist.

Can't turn off Proxy Settings

I am running Windows 10 Home Edition. My ISP provider has suggested I turn off Proxy Server Settings. I have done that, but they always turn themselves back on without my knowledge. There is no place to save the settings, even when set manually. Is there some where to turn off my proxy server and have them stay off?
