    afternoon all,

    i have recently put a lot of effort in to setting up a media server. i'm getting a big issue with windows being stupid and trying to use my proxy server on local addresses even though i told it not to.

    this is infuriating because it overloads my proxy server and interferes with the steaming from my media box. if i disable the proxy settings in windows it streams fine. but then i'm obviously not using my caching for the interwebs.

    there must be a simple fix that i'm overlooking but i just cant find the solution

    windows store error 0x8000FFFF in windows 10 after updating

    For window store(error)

    Go to settings--->Network & Internet--->Proxy--->Turn off automatically detect setting in automatic proxy server and also turn off use a proxy server in manual proxy server.

    LAN Settings > Proxy Server setting keeps on being deleted after some time in Windows 10

    Hello,

    I have a problem with the proxy server setting being deleted after some time of usage.

    At first, setting up the proxy server IP address is not a problem.

    I could connect to the VPN server and browse the web properly when the proxy server is set, and present (that's a weird thing to say).

    But after some time, I will notice that my browser cannot connect to the proxy server anymore; and upon checking, the proxy server is deleted. It is unchecked and the IP address is now blank.

    Environment:

    Windows 10 with latest update

    Browser used (these browsers use the same LAN settings > Proxy server):

    MS Edge

    Chrome

    Opera

    No problem with Firefox because it has its own proxy server setting.

    Appreciate any advise. Thank you in advance.

    Hello. Why don't you use another proxy services from any of sites in world wide? Like this - advanced.name, for example.

    i worked it out eventually... i had ticked bypass for local addresses but i guess that only meant my own ip address and not my lan addresss range. i manually added all my ip addresses into the exceptions list and its doing the job.
