Windows 10: PUA:Win32/Conduit

Discus and support PUA:Win32/Conduit in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; PUA:Win32/Conduit is a threat Windows Defender warns me about daily.     PUA:Win32/Conduit


    PUA:Win32/Conduit is a threat Windows Defender warns me about daily. I have tried full scan and Windows Defender Offline scan but the threat remains.


    How can I remove this threat?

    Having a serious issue with 3 malwares , conduit, spigot.

    Conduit and Spigot are PUPs (potentially unwanted programs) rather than viruses. Defender does not by default detect or block PUPs (or PUAs as MS call them) except in Enterprise environments. However, PUA protection can be enable in all versions including Home.

    Active Sync and 3rd Party Conduits

    I am having trouble with Active Sync 4.5/Win XP SP2/ATT Tilt (HTC 8925) and syncing with two different third party conduits (SplashID and HighWire). The installation programs run fine, and the conduits appear in the "Tools/Options" list for the computer,
    but there is no checkbox to the left of the conduits that allows me to enable them. I have tried a complete uninstall and reinstall (with soft resets and reboots in between) to no avail. Other 3rd party conduits (Handbase and pocket mirror) are working fine.



    Any thoughts on troubleshooting this type of difficulty?
