    QOTR ransomware on windows 10


    By the time I had WIndows 8.1 on my laptop, all was well with the overall performance until one day, I downloaded some random stuff probably KMS without realising that the source was malicious. Windows Defender recognised it as a threat but I ignored it and disabled it. I know it was a big mistake but it was too late. Suddenly, the majority of my files got encrypted by qotr ransomware. After checking all files, videos and games in all drives, I was unable to run any of them. I tried to download various antimalware apps e.g. Kaspersky, Hitman Pro, Combo Cleaner, etc but none of them worked,
