Windows 10: Question about a clean install of 10 down the road.

Let's say you either installed windows 10 at least once during the free offer.

Can you go back to Seven? Then when Jan 2020 comes along can you download a windows 10 installation and do an upgrade or clean install when windows 7 expires or will you only be able to do a clean install?

question about reset pc: clean install windows 10

I have a Lenovo g580 laptop and I install windows 10 when it came out. There was some problems, so I decided to do a clean install by going to setting, then to update and security, then recovery, and reset pc. I follow the prompts and did the one where
it will do a clean install where the programs that came with the laptop would still be there and just personal files and programs that did not come with the laptop would be deleted. Once I finish the process, I saw that programs that came with the program,
like onekey recovery, Lenovo support and Lenovo powerdvd 10 and some other Lenovo programs were deleted. So I was not sure what happen. I was thinking maybe it was this, during the process I had clicked to do the clean install on the driver where windows was
installed. I do have two hard drives on the laptop. The first hard drive where the process was done and another hard drive where it has driver files folders and onekey driver folder as well has the back up. Maybe when I was selecting the hard drive for the
recovery, I should have selected both of them and that would have also put the programs that came with the laptop on the laptop or I did it right and selected one drive where the windows was installed.

 

Windows 8.0 license after Windows 10 update

okay, so if I have to do a clean install down the road (after upgrading to Windows 10), will the license code on my Windows 8 disk work if I try to activate Windows 10 on a clean install? Or will I have to clean install Windows 8 first, and then upgrade
it to 10.....and then what would I do if the "free upgrade" period is finished? Would I then have to pay for Windows 10?

 

Should be able to still do an upgrade.
