Windows 10: question about wddm

i have windows xp sp3 i was looking to do clean install of windows 10

specs:

i3 3.30ghz 4gb ram more than sufficient ram direct x 9 running xpdm because the version number of driver starts with 6 not 7(i read this somewhere)

so i dont have wddm what are my options here

the current graphics card i have is the intel integrated graphics unit

so would buying an external graphics card give me the wddm

or would upgrading to vista give me the wddm

or

what else what could i do

any help would be aprreciated thanks

The error message is related to PCs using WD portable drives. We suggest that you restart the WDDM service and check if it helps.

Here's how:

• Open Run by pressing Win + R, and then enter services.msc. You can also click on Start, Search, or Cortana, and then look for
  Services Desktop app.
  
• Locate Windows Display Driver Model Service.
• Right-click on the service, and then select Restart.

In addition, make sure that the service is set to start automatically.

• Right-click on the service, and then select Properties.
• Change the Startup type to Automatic.

If the issue persists, you may need to contact the drive's manufacturer.

Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) 2.2

WDDM 2.2 is not downloadable, if you are getting an error it means your video card driver needs to be updated to WDDM 22 or does not support WDDM 2.2

Open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

Expand the Display adapters sectiob

What video device(s) are listed there?

You are only about 8 builds behind. 11041 may not support WDDM 2.x First step is to update to the current build
