Windows 10: Question Retraction

How do you use the Windows Community if you post a question and then discover the solution on your own? How do you discourage further emails from responding to the question. Please understand that I am grateful for the responses but I don't want to waste anyone's time when I have the solution.

Retractable (3rd party?) headset for E51

Just to give an update! :smileyhappy:



After several reasonably happy months with the Nokia E51 as a phone, I'm finding the rapid and frenzied headset cable unwinding charade whenever a call comes in to be all a bit of a bind (pun intended).



I've looked through a list of which phones are compatible with either of the two types of old fashioned retractable Nokia headsets that I have squirrelled away in reasonable numbers, and I've started bidding on Ebay for an E50.



This is a bit of a step back in terms of processor speed, and no 3G and no wi-fi connectivity, but on balance this is a trade off I'm going to have to make to bring back the convenience of old fashioned telephone-as-a-telephone usability! I'm still baffled
by the lack of current contemporary retractable headsets on the market, and I'm not sure what I'll do in ten years' time when all this stuff becomes totally obsolete, but I'll push that worry off into the future.

One question thou: you suggested me to Download the latest driver package from Nvidea. However, the link you posted is for the newly released GeForce GTX 760? Am I supposed to download the drivers for that card?

Sorry for my questions. As I said, I'm not an expert at all.

 

Local account installation question

I'm fairly certain that Skip this step was available in 10.0.130 - the workaround in Step 20 (back button) is no longer required.

The currently known, as of 10.0.130, ways to create a Local account sign-in are

• Skip this step at the MS account creation phase
• No Internet connection during the install
• static IP (post# 2 by Fragment) - New (to me anyway)
