Windows 10: Question: What can I do to get Microsoft to let me sync all my Edge settings with my...

Here are my 16 Edge start pages, the first one being my home page in Edge. Edge has been out for over four years now. If I don't have the option to sync all my Edge settings with my personal Microsoft account when the new Chromium-based Edge browser comes out next month, I don't know when I will.

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

 

How do I sync Microsoft Edge Favourites?

About your concern, you can sync the Microsoft Edge Favorites by following the steps below:

• Sign in with the same Microsoft account on both devices.
• Turn on sync settings on the phone, go to Settings > Accounts >
  Sync your settings and turn on
  Sync settings.
• Turn on sync settings on Microsoft Edge on your PC, select More (...) >
  Settings > turn on Sync.

Edge Settings and Favorites Not Syncing

I have read numerous questions and answers regarding Edge settings and favorites not syncing and have seen a myriad of different answers. I 'm using Windows 10 (1151). I set the settings and favorites in Edge on Laptop #1. I set up all necessary syncing
on Laptops #1 and #2. The Edge setting and favorites are not syncing to Laptop #2.

The only difference I see is that my account email is listed in the Edge Settings window on Laptop #1, but not in Laptop #2, even though when I access my Microsoft account online, it clearly indicates that the account is on both laptops.

Is this syncing supposed to work or not? The "Tricks and Tips" section in Edge says it is supposed to work. Will someone let me know whether this Edge syncing is supposed to work or not? Thank you.
