Windows 10: Question: Will a Windows 10 laptop taken out of S mode go back into S mode when I reset my...

I'm thinking of buying a new PC like this one on Oct. 1st, 2022 directly from dell.com with a 512 GB SSD: https://www.dell.com/en-us/member/s...aptop/spd/inspiron-15-5502-laptop/nn5502efpuh. There are plenty of programs that aren't available on the Windows 10 Store app yet, like XnConvert I use to convert TIFF images to JPG format not only to save space on my OneDrive, but also for compatibility on websites. It certainly is in my best interest to save my money for everything that means a lot to me like trips to my aunt, uncle and their dogs down in Valrico, Florida. $40 per month is the minimum I should save for that, but I go for at least $60 every four weeks. Whether I stay in Pennsylvania, move to one of its border states, or even one of its border states of border states like Connecticut or Virginia, working over 40 hours every week certainly helps me live life happily.

Win 10 S Mode Questions

Hello all and if you observe, happy Easter or Passover. Next week, a friend is getting an HP laptop that'll be using Windows 10 in S Mode. I'm somewhat familiar with what can and cannot be done but there are a few questions.

As there are restrictions in what can be downloaded and installed in S Mode, does anyone know if tools like Geek Uninstaller portable and CCleaner portable (on USB sticks) would work or will she be limited to the built-in Windows tools?

She's using an HP LaserJet Pro M15W printer on her network and to add that to the new laptop, drivers cannot be downloaded from the HP website. It was suggested we go to the Microsoft Store and get the HP Smart app and try using that to get the printer on the new machine. If that doesn't work, we can easily uninstall the app. HP's listing for S Mode compatible printers is grossly outdated and doesn't mention the printer (which is a reasonably new model) one way or the other.

The goal is to keep the laptop as clean as possible so any insight would be appreciated.

 

Cannot Enter Safe Mode / Computer boots normally

I'm running Win 10 Pro 1903.

Here are the steps I have taken to get into safe mode: Start button, settings, update and security, recovery, advanced startup, troubleshoot, advanced options, startup settings, restart. The computer boots normally, not in safe mode. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thanks in advance for your help and interest. .
