Windows 10: Questions About the Windows 11 Product Key

I am building a new PC and I want to install windows 11 on it. On Microsoft's website, I can download Windows 11 for free, or I could pay for a USB one, or I can pay for the Windows 11 Home downloaded. If I download Windows 11 for free, how can I get a product key for the free version? If I do pay for Windows 11 Home USB, do they send me the product key digitally or do they physically send me a product key? If I pay for the Windows 11 Home Downloaded do I get to install that version of Windows 11 on a new PC and get the product key? I just want to download Windows 11 fast I don't want to

Convert a Windows 8pro product key to a Windows 10pro produkt key

Thank you for contacting Microsoft community.

I suggest you to Uninstall the license using the following steps.

• Press Windows key + X
• Click Command Prompt (Admin)
• At the command prompt, type: slmgr.vbs -upk
• Press Enter, this will uninstall the product key from the computer.

Further on, install Windows 8.1 activate the copy with the product key on the new machine. Then again upgrade the same to Windows 10 using Window Update or Media Creation Tool.

I would like to inform you that if you've upgraded from a genuine qualifying activated version of Windows (Windows 7SP1/8.1), then you will not need a product key.
