Windows 10: Quick format a Bitlocked drive

I have a couple of dozen 1TB drives that are Bitlocked and I wish to render them unreadable, but also reuse them later.I am wondering if a Quick Format would make the rest of the original encrypted material left on the disk indecipherable because of what Quick Format actually erases and what it leaves as is. Unlike an unencrypted disk being Quick Formatted, where the files could be recovered."Quick format will "delete" files from the partition and rebuild the file system, volume label, and cluster size."I'm afraid I don't know enough about how Bitlocker encryption is execut

Veracrypt vs Bitlocker Formatting drive?

I have a new drive, it's for storage only, can I simply use quick format with Veracrypt?

Bitlocker has the option to encrypt as you put data on the drive, instead of encrypting the whole drive first, is that not similar to quick format?

Encrypt the entire drive, or to not encrypt the entire drive, that is the question?

I suggest you to perform below mentioned steps to disable BitLocker.

To disable BitLocker I would suggest you try the following steps and see if it helps.

  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Change View by from Category
  to Large Icons/Small Icons.
  
• 
  Click on BitLocker Drive Encryption and click on
  Turn BitLocker Off.
  
• 
  Follow on screen instructions. Click on Decrypt the Drive
  when the message appears.

Quick format or normal format?

I always Quick format first. But, if I have a new drive, a drive formatted in something other than NTFS or FAT32, or otherwise encounter a problem with quick format, I do the normal format.
